Capilla de San Miguel

Torre ni Mariano
In the olden times, the South China Sea shoreline was dotted by many watchtowers, as a lookout for sea pirates. Almost all are gone, but ruins of one remains in Currimao in a Sitio appropriately called Torre. From the available pictures of these watchtowers, a replica was built in the seaside of Sitio, the facade of which, the logo of the village was derived from. It is a windy viewing deck to watch fishermen take out to sea and in the afternoon, a perfect place to sip a cold drink as the sun sets in the expansive horizon of the South China Sea.
